Journal therapy involves the therapeutic use of journaling exercises and prompts to bring about awareness and improve mental health conditions as a result of inner and outer conflicts. It is the purposeful and intentional use of reflective writing to further mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness.
MAKSAT provides a virtual journal for all the members of our community that helps them scrawl their thoughts and letting all their emotions and feelings out. This gives them clarity of their thoughts, helps them understand their mind, allows them to reject negativity and welcome positivity and cleanse their soul.

MUSIC
Music therapy is the use of music to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of a group or individual. It is used to aid in physical discomfort by improving respiration, lowering blood pressure, improving cardiac output, reducing heart rate and relaxing muscle tension. For mental health, this form of therapy is great for reducing stress' common negative side effects, such as emotional and behavioural problems. Music soothes the soul and takes us into a world that is often known as our happy place.
At MAKSAT, we aim to provide everything that one needs to calm their mind and pacify their soul. We have playlists for every mood, be it happy, sad, elated, relaxed, etc. and we also have a platform for individuals to curate their own playlists.

DANCE
Dance/movement therapy is a type of therapy that uses movement to help individuals achieve emotional, cognitive, physical, and social integration. Beneficial for both physical and mental health, dance therapy can be used for stress reduction, disease prevention, and mood management. Dance therapists work with people in therapy to help them improve their body image and self esteem. Dance/movement therapy is a versatile form of therapy founded on the idea that motion and emotion are interconnected. At MAKSAT, we provide a curated playlist of some of the most inspiring movement therapists with their recorded videos that will motivate and push you to get up and get grooving. Therapists also hold live dance sessions every weekend in order to connect with people and answer their questions, if any.

PAW-BEINGS
Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With my coaching sessions, you’ll learn about acceptance and how to exert your power of choice over whatever life may throw at you.

ART
Art therapy is a specialized area of mental health that uses art materials and the creative process to explore emotions, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem, and resolve other psychological conflicts. It can be an effective mental health treatment for individuals who have experienced depression, trauma, mental illness, and social difficulties. Making art in therapy can be a way to achieve personal insight as well as healing.
